So mindfulness is one of those things that everyone talks about, but are sometimes unsure about what mindfulness actually is.
It’s one of those things that people get confused about or feel let down by because they feel like they don’t get it. So I’ve written a short blog to make it easier to understand.
Mindfulness is simply focusing on the present moment. This could mean being heavily engrossed in conversation with a friend, performing an activity, or cooking, as an example. So instead of meditating and focusing on your toes, try and stay present with enjoyment, laughter and connection to your task or the people you are with.
